Employment

At NPAS, collections and customer service go hand in hand. Our professionals complete a rigorous training regimen, using proven methods that prepare them to deal with a wide range of account issues, including:

NPAS is proud to offer a generous benefits program to both its full time and part time employees.

Medical/Dental Insurance:
NPAS offers employees a choice of several medical and dental insurance plans effective the first of the month after 60 days of employment.

Life Insurance:
NPAS provides coverage on employees of one time the employee's annual salary. Employees may elect to have additional coverage on themselves or their dependents.

Long Term Disability Insurance:
NPAS offers employees the option of taking long term disability insurance at a group discount rate. Full time Employees Only.

IRS Spending Accounts:
NPAS participates in the IRS program allowing employees to deduct pretax dollars to be deposited in a special account to reimburse them for medical, dental, vision and childcare expenses incurred throughout the year.

Paid Time Off (PTO):
During the employee's first year, full time employees may receive up to 22 days off work that may be used for vacations, holidays and illnesses. Part time employees may receive up to 20 days off work. This accrues bi-weekly depending upon the number of hours worked and is available for use after 90 days of employment.

Extended Illness Bank (EIB):
Employees accrue time off each pay period for use in case of an extended illness of the employee or a dependent.

Tuition Reimbursement:
After six months of employment, NPAS will reimburse up to $3,000 per year for full time employees and $1,000 per year for part time employees for tuition for approved courses offered by accredited or licensed institutions which will benefit employees in their careers at NPAS or any HCA facility.

Scholarship Program:
HCA provides a merit and need based scholarship program for full time employees' children attending a college or university. Award amounts vary for each student.

Discounts:
Discounts to local attractions and companies.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
Employees and members of their household may receive confidential counseling services free of charge through this program.

Adoption Assistance Program:
NPAS assists full time employees who have been employed for at least one year in the adoption of a child, up to $2,000.

Child Care Center Discounts:
NPAS employees are eligible for a 10% discount at Kindercare and LaPetite.

ConSern Student Loan Program:
After one year of employment, NPAS employees may qualify for low cost, long-term educational financing for themselves and family members through HCA.

Frist Award:
Named for our founder, Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., each year, HCA recognizes employees for humanitarian and volunteer activities.

Core Plus Benefits:
Employees are eligible to participate in supplemental insurance such as portable universal life insurance, short-term disability, long-term care, vision care and legal benefits.

401(k):
Employees are eligible to participate in HCA's 401(k) plan the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Employees may contribute up to 15% of their salary with before tax dollars, and HCA matches 50% of the first 3% employees contribute. Employees are 100% vested after completion of three years of service.

HCA Retirement Plan:
After completion of one full calendar year of employment, employees are automatically enrolled in HCA's pension plan. Depending upon length of service, HCA contributes the equivalent of between 2.25% and 5% of the employee's salary. Vesting begins after completion of 3 years of service.

Incentive Bonus:
After a Representative has been employed for 60 days at the end of the bonus month being measured, they are eligible for an incentive bonus that is designed to award collectors who recover the most money, using the best techniques and customer service skills with additional compensation. The percentage of collectors who receive the bonus is determined by the amount the department collects in comparison to the department goal.
